UK Rishta – First Rishta Experience £100 Contribution
UK Rishta is pleased to offer eligible members the opportunity to receive a £100 contribution per person where a genuine relationship has developed following an introduction through UK Rishta and has progressed to an engagement or marriage.
The purpose of the First Rishta Experience is to recognise and celebrate genuine relationships that have developed through UK Rishta and to share positive success stories with others.
The £100 contribution is conditional and is not an automatic payment.
By participating in the First Rishta Experience or submitting a claim, each participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
- Successful UK Rishta Introduction
For the purposes of this initiative, a Successful UK Rishta Introduction means that two individuals who were introduced or connected through UK Rishta have:
- met following their UK Rishta introduction;
- developed a genuine romantic relationship;
- remained together as a couple for a minimum of six months; and
- subsequently become engaged or married.
Both individuals must be able to reasonably confirm that their relationship developed as a result of their connection through UK Rishta.
Simply communicating, remaining friends, maintaining occasional contact or having gone on one or more dates does not qualify.
- Six-Month Relationship Requirement
The six-month requirement is an essential part of the First Rishta Experience.
Approximately six months after the individuals were introduced or connected through UK Rishta, UK Rishta may contact both individuals to establish whether:
- they have continued their relationship;
- they have developed a genuine romantic relationship;
- they remain together; and
- their relationship has progressed towards an engagement or marriage.
UK Rishta may ask reasonable questions or request reasonable evidence to verify the relationship.
Both individuals should independently confirm the relationship where reasonably possible.
- Engagement or Marriage Requirement
To qualify for the £100 contribution, the relationship must have progressed to a genuine engagement or marriage.
UK Rishta may request reasonable evidence of the engagement or marriage before approving a contribution.
Examples of reasonable evidence may include an engagement announcement, wedding documentation, photographs, or other appropriate evidence.
UK Rishta will only request information that is reasonably necessary to verify the claim.
- The £100 Contribution
Where all eligibility requirements have been satisfied, UK Rishta will contribute £100 per eligible person.
Each person must independently satisfy the eligibility requirements.
Where both individuals qualify, the total contribution may therefore be £200 for the couple.
The contribution is subject to verification and approval by UK Rishta.
The contribution cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be exchanged for cash in any other form.
- No Guaranteed Relationship
UK Rishta does not guarantee that any introduction will result in a relationship, engagement or marriage.
Relationships are personal decisions made by the individuals involved.
The First Rishta Experience is intended to celebrate genuine successful relationships. It is not intended to encourage anyone to enter or remain in a relationship for financial benefit.
- Verification
UK Rishta reserves the right to verify a claim before making any contribution.
Reasonable verification may include confirming:
- that the individuals were introduced through UK Rishta;
- that they subsequently met;
- that a genuine romantic relationship developed;
- that the relationship continued for at least six months;
- that the relationship progressed to an engagement or marriage; and
- that any evidence provided is genuine.
UK Rishta may communicate separately with either or both individuals where reasonably necessary to verify the claim.
- Mandatory Podcast and Success Story
Participation in the First Rishta Experience is conditional upon both individuals agreeing to participate in a UK Rishta podcast, recorded interview or other agreed success-story feature.
The purpose of this requirement is to allow UK Rishta to share genuine success stories and demonstrate the real-life outcomes that can result from our service.
The couple may be asked to discuss:
- how they were introduced through UK Rishta;
- how they first connected;
- how their relationship developed;
- their experience of the UK Rishta service;
- how their relationship progressed during the six-month period; and
- their engagement or marriage journey.
Both individuals must understand and accept this requirement before making a claim.
If either individual does not agree to participate in the required podcast, recorded interview or agreed success-story feature, the couple will not be eligible to receive the contribution.
- Honest Testimonial and Review
Both individuals must agree to provide an honest testimonial about their experience with UK Rishta as part of the First Rishta Experience.
The couple may also be invited to provide an honest review on Google or another relevant review platform.
Any testimonial or review must be genuine and reflect the individual’s actual experience.
UK Rishta does not require or request a falsely positive review.
However, agreement to provide the required honest testimonial and participate in the agreed success-story process is a condition of receiving the contribution.
- Publicity and Promotional Use
The purpose of the First Rishta Experience includes celebrating genuine success stories and demonstrating the positive outcomes that can result from UK Rishta.
Participants must therefore be willing to be publicly associated with their UK Rishta success story as part of the agreed podcast, interview or promotional activity.
Where photographs, video, audio recordings, names, quotations or other identifiable material are to be published, UK Rishta will obtain the appropriate consent and explain the intended use.
Participants should not make a claim if they are unwilling to participate in the agreed success-story activity.
- No Obligation to Remain in a Relationship
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions requires either individual to remain in a relationship against their wishes.
The six-month requirement is intended to identify relationships that have naturally developed and continued following a UK Rishta introduction.
The £100 contribution must not be understood as an incentive to enter into or continue a relationship solely for financial benefit.
- Fraud, Misrepresentation or Abuse
Any attempt to obtain the contribution by providing false, misleading, exaggerated or fraudulent information may result in the claim being rejected.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- falsely claiming that a relationship exists;
- falsely claiming that a relationship continued for six months;
- falsely claiming an engagement or marriage;
- providing false or misleading evidence;
- claiming a relationship that did not result from a UK Rishta introduction; or
- deliberately providing misleading information to obtain the contribution.
Where UK Rishta reasonably believes that the First Rishta Experience has been used primarily or solely to obtain a financial benefit, it reserves the right to refuse the contribution.
- Timing of the Contribution
The £100 contribution will only be considered once:
- the six-month relationship requirement has been satisfied;
- the relationship has progressed to an engagement or marriage;
- the required evidence and verification have been completed; and
- the required podcast, success-story and testimonial commitments have been agreed.
The contribution is not payable immediately after a first introduction or simply because two members begin dating.
- Right to Refuse a Contribution
UK Rishta reserves the right to refuse, withhold or decline a contribution where:
- the eligibility requirements have not been satisfied;
- the relationship cannot reasonably be verified;
- the relationship did not result from a UK Rishta introduction;
- the six-month requirement has not been satisfied;
- evidence provided cannot reasonably be verified;
- either participant has not agreed to the required podcast or success-story participation;
- either participant has not agreed to provide the required honest testimonial;
- information supplied is false or misleading;
- there is evidence of fraud or abuse; or
- UK Rishta reasonably believes that the claim does not meet the purpose or requirements of the First Rishta Experience.
Any decision will be made following the UK Rishta verification process and subject to the participant’s rights under applicable law.
- Acceptance of These Terms
By participating in the UK Rishta First Rishta Experience and submitting a claim, each participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Each participant acknowledges that:
- the £100 contribution is conditional;
- the relationship must have developed through a UK Rishta introduction;
- the relationship must have continued for at least six months;
- the relationship must have progressed to an engagement or marriage;
- UK Rishta may reasonably verify the relationship and supporting evidence;
- the contribution is limited to £100 per eligible person; and
- participation in the required podcast, success story and honest testimonial process is a condition of receiving the contribution.
UK Rishta reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
